finding all fields that are empty

Featured Replies

I am a relatively new user, I just can't figure out how to use the FIND to show me records that have a particular field empty. I know how to use the IsEmpty function in a calculation, but is there a symbol to put in a filed when performing a find?

I have tried < a certain # and <>.

I need to solve this problem for fields that contain numbers, dates and text.

Any help would be appreciated.

Use a equal sign ( = ) in the field.

I've always used the double equals sign(s)

"=="

The " = =" means exact match for a field, and when they are the only item entered in the field while in find mode, they find the exact matches, which are the records with the empty contents in that field.
