addind a user dictionary to a runtime solution

Featured Replies

I have a runtime solution which involves a lot of user text entry. How do I include a dictionary which will enable the spellcheck to work for the user? The solution is for mac and PC. Also, I don't wish to have to worry about copyright issues when it comes to including a dictionary.

The spell check should work in a runtime. Just make sure that the Standard Toolbar is viewed. I never thought about it, but I just checked one of my runtimes and the Standard Toolbar still has the spell check button. It will check the spelling in the layout's fields.

...or. if you don't want the toolbar showing, make up an equivalent functionality with buttons on your layouts, attached to any or all of the seven button commands or script steps relating to spelling and dictionary maintenance:

Check Record

Check Found Set
