Is there a quick and easy way to create a grid? Whenever I try the "make-the-box-and-place-the-lines-in-it" game, I can't seem to get all the rows the same height.

I'd space the lines THEN draw the box around them. The line spacing can be done using the duplicate command, it also duplicates spacing. Or, if you are drawing parallel horizontal lines, create a vertical line, one grid space long to use as a gauge.
