staypuffinpc Posted October 22, 2002 Posted October 22, 2002 I have a database from which I'd like to create a report. I only want to report three fields. I've got the report made but I have to physically call up ech record myself. Is there a way to have the fields automatically created when I create them in the Parent file without changing the original location to my report and then creating a portal back the file that is now the original? Vaughan Posted October 23, 2002 Posted October 23, 2002 The report should be done in the related (child) file. Use a script with the "Go to related records []" to find the related records, then proces them in the cild file. bring the "master" info in through a relationship back from the child to parent dbs.
