LaRetta Posted October 27, 2002 Posted October 27, 2002 I am attempting to design all of my db's utilizing Pop-Ups across the top. The method I am reviewing is Cobalt Sky's Layout Menu. It appears to consist of one LayoutName text field, two globals and a calculation. I am hoping to have this universal throughout my dbs in many respects (i.e., one Pop-Up for Main db items, one for Reports, etc. I am wondering about the possibility of establishing a db, entering each Main Menu Item in the text field and each Sub-Menu item in a text field (which should also allow for expansion in the future) and joining this to all db's. Before I waste my time attempting this, are there potential drawbacks to this approach, even if I succeeded in my small way? I want to determine what the Main Tabs and all Sub-Tabs say. I want to be the one to determine the scripts that will activate, such as Open Staff, then GoTo Layout Benefits, print, etc. Is this a pipe dream?
