If record doesn't exist ?

I work with this problem unsolved for a while, but I only know this forum for 3/4 days.

Reading between the lines, I am guessing that you are bringing values across from your PRODUCT BASE using a lookup.

That being the case, you should edit the settings for your lookup. In the auto-enter looked up value dialog, at the right you will see a panel of settings with the heading "If no exact match, then:" and at the bottom of the list is an option labelled "use" with a text box alongside it. Select the "use" option, but ensure that the text box is empty.

That will replace your previous field contents with the null (empty) value from the lookup settings if there is no matching field for the lookup.
