RickK Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 Inventory databases are such a hassle. This might help you in designing your own inventory system Inv_Sample.ZIP
Bob White Posted November 10, 2002 Posted November 10, 2002 All I'm getting is one of those gibberish text files. Was this supposed to be a .fp5 file?
BobWeaver Posted November 10, 2002 Posted November 10, 2002 Drag and drop into Stuffit or Stuffit expander. It should work.
RickK Posted November 11, 2002 Author Posted November 11, 2002 To all: Guess I should have said this package is in a zip format, containing 3 .FP5 databases. Sorry for any inconvience. RickK
ralph.nusser Posted October 10, 2003 Posted October 10, 2003 With freeware http://www.info-zip.org/pub/infozip/WiZ.html WiZ 5.02 I could open the file. Stuffit version 8 couldn't open it.
Robert Schaub Posted October 10, 2003 Posted October 10, 2003 Not a bad start , but I think you have some of your total fields defined and or displayed wrong. (See Download shot of your input file.) The totals don't add up to what is in the portals, especially if the In / out files get themselves into a show all mode. I think rather than displaying ::Field Total Name in the Input file you need to define fields in the input file like cTotalReceived = Calc = Sum (In::Quantity In) which returns a total of 210 rather than the 349 in the screen shot each total in below the portals for In / Out , Inventory balance should be define this way. I hope you take this as constructive criticism. Inventory Sample.zip
