special characters in fields

Featured Replies

I am creating a field that requires morse code input, but i can't seem to find the right characters to use.

I'm quite new to pc's (been on the macs too long) and i am looking for a good sized bullet point and a thick dash. I don't want to use special font sets in case my end users don't have these.

Does anyone know of keyboard commands that will allow me to input these? Or is there a way to enter graphic files in values lists?

Many thanks in advance,

Andy

Well...for mac you could use the bullet character (option + 8). If you are interrested i have a Mac font that only makes bullets...no matter what charracter you type! For PC i don't know what to do. Maybe the WEBDING font is a solution for you?

Thanks Jeff,

The option-8 is fine and I think I've sorted out a work around with webdings. I'll decline your offer of your special typeface as I have to use a standard font as I'm developing for others.

Thanks again,

Andy
