belgiumbruno Posted January 7, 2003 Posted January 7, 2003 I wonder what the "network kb" in the usage of the remote admin means. I use the server speed statistics from anatolifrom one of his earlier posts as my reference. The only thing which is poor in my statistics is the "network kb" (around 300). What does this mean? Does this depend on the hardware - the design of the files or simply the amount of data you send over the network (the more you send, the higher the number of network kb?) Another speed problem is finding results over calculations. Sometimes it's not possible to use indexed, stored calculations. (ex. total of invoice). Does anyone has suggestions ?
Anatoli Posted January 8, 2003 Posted January 8, 2003 Which platform? On Windows 100Mb we had speed 1148 k. We connected the server to 1Gb switch and we have 2-3 clients also on 1Gb. Network increased to 1964 k
