Dear All,

I would like to know that if I have to Filemaker server each is different location. Let 's say ..Location 1 and location 2 . From location 1, I can have access to physical files of location 2 . To be careful enough to work , I want to stop Filemaker server of location 2, it means stop service. How do I do that? ... and also If I want to link file using host button of location 2 ...how do i do that? ...I don't want to link by physical files

On which platform?

On Windows and probably also on Mac X you can command FM server through command line and on Windows with Batch (*.bat) file.
