I am trying to preserve text formatting for some form letters I am building into the database. However, I keep losing features such as "bold" everytime I create the final letter field thru a script. In the field I use the "set field" function.

Any advice. I just want my final printable letter to have "bold" words without having to go revisit each letter and manually do it in browse mode.

The FileMaker calculation engine strips all formatting. Set field is run through as a calculation.

However, Copy & Paste retains formatting, as well as lookups.

I use the lookup method mostly. I hate disrupting the users clipboard.
