As it is possible to set a self relationship gHook(number from calc =1)::cHook (global number = 1) and as portal can be filtered and sorted, would it be reliable to only use portals to show the records in my layouts, keeping obviously the lists and tables for editing and printings.

This kind of interface would allow for exemple to have a header for a tabbed interface and a personalized status area at left.

What could be the cons for such an interface ?
