Need to show fieldnames in order of export

I need to create a list of the fieldnames in my database in the order that they export so that I can make a list that matches the export data to its fieldname. (EX: the 5th word in my tab delimited export file actually is the fieldname "whatever")

I have created a fieldnames calc field, and in place of layout name, I have inserted "". This gives me the list of all the fields, but in their creation order

OR: is their a way to export the fieldnames and not just the record data?
