paulmetzger Posted January 28, 2003 Posted January 28, 2003 I know that one can make an object shrink to remove whitespace by using the sliding / printing options. However, is there a way to make the field GROW dynamically? It seems right now the only solution is to make the text field *huge*, then slide up. This means that I have to guess ahead of time as to what the biggest the field would ever be! What happens if for one of the records the data in the field is incredibly long? I don't want to lose anything to truncating. hopefully this was a stupid question with an easy answer Cheers, Paul
paulmetzger Posted January 31, 2003 Author Posted January 31, 2003 Nobody seems to have an answer for this, but maybe someone will come along with one. So how does everyone else work around the problem I presented; just make the text boxes reeeeaaaly big and slide up? Does anyone else even THINK it's a problem?
jasonwood Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 Does anyone else even THINK it's a problem? Nope. I've never dealt with a field that large, I guess making it really big is the best way to go.
daltwin Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 Ah yes. One of the very few occasions when bigger really *is* better!
