Thanks for this forum, i hope i can help members with some of the issues.

However i would like to start with a question myself.

I am using filemaker 5.5. How can I define a text box with a scrollbar that is not editable by the user.

Define calc field (result as text)???

c_TextField and put "TextField"(no quotes) in calc box, where TextField is the field that contains the text that you want read but not altered. Use c_TextField in your layout with scroll bar.

This shows that i have to be more creative to integrate the buildin functions.

In one of the threads i read i to chage the text color in browse mode ??? great.
