Simple Find I'm sure

Featured Replies

Hello...I'm very sure this find is simple...I just can NOT figure it out to make it work. Here's the deal.

There's a pull down full of colleges where our events are going to be held, a 2001, 2002 and 2003 button...and then a find button. All I want to do is pull down the list and select a certain college (Covanent College for instance), click on the year, 2003 for instance, and then hit find and have FM show the results in a specific layout called Camp Registration Overview showing only that College for 2003 that will display all the events going on at that college.

The pull down box is called _text 1, the year buttons are called _year, and I can not figure out how to make the script work to perform the find to get it to sort them and only show that one specific college. All of the info is in this database and not pulling from seperate databases.

I'm sure there's an if statement that I'm missing...I'm just praying that someone can help me out!

Thank you for your time,

Jami K.

In fact...it quite simlpe:)

Make from the pulldown menu's global fields. When clicking on the "find" button, perform a script that sets the data from the college and year fields to the fields of the pull down menus and perfrom find:)

I've attached a file that works for you...i hope:) The sort script steps are not build in...
