mf Posted May 31, 2001 Posted May 31, 2001 Hi, This question maybe trivial but I can't figure it out. How does one know what "the information already saved for this script" is when dealing with an export or import script? Thanks for the help

How does one know what "the information already saved for this script" is when dealing with an export or import script? All of the stuff that you select in the various dialog boxes is saved. Basically when you go through the import procedure and then save it in a script that exact import is remembered. Except that in this case you specify the file as a seperate and independantly configurable option.
BobWeaver Posted June 1, 2001 Posted June 1, 2001 You can find the current import , export , find and sort setups by printing out the script.
Chuck Posted June 1, 2001 Posted June 1, 2001 To fut what the options are, you can also run the script and then choose the operation manually. For instance, if you have a Perform Find [Restore] step, run the script, and then select Modify Last Find and the find requests will be there that the script put in. Similarly, for Page Setup, Import, etc. With Import or Export, you would have to select the same file as the script step and choose Last from the popup menu in the top right. Chuck
