jeffer Posted February 12, 2003 Posted February 12, 2003 Hi, Is there a way to see if a database has crashed? If not...please tell me:) thnx & greetz Jeff
Lee Smith Posted February 12, 2003 Posted February 12, 2003 Hi Jeff, Download a copy of MetadataMagic from http://www.newmillennium.com/ Under the demo, it will only look at three files, but if you work your files right, you should be able to get what you want, and a whole lot more. HTH Lee ;0)
jeffer Posted February 13, 2003 Author Posted February 13, 2003 Hi Lee...thnx for your answer! I am aware of the Metaplugin from new milennium communications...but i want to figure it out without the plugin! Maybe someone knows an other approach? greetz, Jeff
Lee Smith Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 Hi Jeff, This not a plugin, this is an analysis program. It analyze your files in much some way that Analyzer from Wave in Motions does. But it has this one feature that the rest don't, and that is it will tell you how many times a file has crashed. This URL will take you to their download page. http://www.nmci.com/Plug_Download.htm?pid=P694HA3506PHQEJ4BGXL&-session=dwc:367B1B3AD7C12200789F3A36A764912E Fill in the basic information and choose MetadataMagic 1.0.3. in your flavor) HTH Lee
