I did not try that, but probably yes.

Through export TAB text and import TAB text 100% yes.

If you can locate a version of Filemaker pro version 1, I think it can import a Filemaker II file. Then import that into a newer version.

I still have all my old Filemaker versions going back to version 1. If the file is not confidential and is small enough to email, you could send it to me, and I could convert it for you.
