Export single record with unique name...?

Hi all,

I do not know if this even possible.

Can I export the a record I am viewing, with a unique name such as the date of export?

So in effect I would have 1 record (With all related data) exported as text with a name such as Export-300701

This is not possible to do directly with Filemaker alone. One of the plugins might be able to do this, or you might have to use something like Applescript or WinBatch to control the naming of the file.

Check the File plugin by Troi first, or do a search for plugins on Filemaker's web site for possible solutions.
