I know that I have to buy another Filemaker Server 5.5 license, but do I have to get another server machine to host it? Or can I just use my current server machine where FM Server is already running on? Is this possible?

Are you sure you have reached the Max # of hosted files that server allows or that you just haven't increased the maximum to the ACTUAL maximum.

Remember that FM Server 5 can host 125 files. That is quite a number of files,.

You may just have to increase the amount of files allowed to be hosted.

If you need another FM server, you'll need another HW as well.

But you can install second FM on really old HW and serve only small, unimportant files from it.

Yes we're reaching the 125 databases limit of FM Server. It looks like I have to get another server machine to host another license of Filemaker Server. Thanks for the replies. :-)
