Message dialog

Hi,

Hope someone can help. I am using FM DEV5 and wish to achieve the following:

When a report is to be printed I would like to bring up a dialog box asking the user to place "X" no of plain sheets into the printer as the present paper being used is parchment type. I am able to find the report length in pages and set that into a global..BUT cannot figure our a method of reflecting the global in a message box.

Does anyone know of a method?

You will need FMP 6 or a plug-in to do that. FMP 6 has custom massage boxes there you can insert field values.

Or you can save money and just use a special layout which has the details you need on it and a button to continue. Not the neatest solution but it will work for you.
