Print quality when printing inserted .pdf files

When printing a layout with a pdf file in a container field the pdf prints low resolution. The pdf prints fine from the Preview app. Anyone else seeing this.

FM 6.0.4, OSX 10.2.4, Postscript printer.

Yes.... or .tiff or .bmp (tried as a last resort). I have for ages scanned forms to use as the background and then defined text fields over them to fill in... pre OS X it worked fine (FM 3.x, 4.x, 5.x)... Now, under OS X the form looks like crap! no matter what resolution it's scanned at - up to 1200dpi. AND, FM 5.5v2 and 6.0 (trial) crashes more times than not when trying to insert as background and almost always when trying to put the file into a container field!

Unfortunately, if I can't find a remedy for this, it may be the final straw that FORCES me to give up on Macs once and for all --- (the forms I critically need right now have Windows software to fill them in... my only recourse if this can't be done from FM)...
