script with field entry

I need a script that will ask the user for what sale date are you looking for and let the user enter the sale date then find the records that match that sale date. Is this possible?

How are they going to be entering the date?

List or manual entry?

Go to Layout (layout where you want the find performed)

Go to Filed (field where date is (Sale Date?))

Enter find mode

The user will than enter the date and click continue
