Can my FileMaker file layouts be exported as a pdf file? Is there an extension that can achieve this or is there a technique where FM layouts can be exported as an image/pixel file that I could use another application to create the pdf?

If you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat, it includes a "PDF" printer that you print to instead of a printer that creates a pdf of the record/layout.

A quick and easy way to get an image is to go to Preview Mode, Copy, then paste into any application that accepts graphic images. The image will be a bitmap image.
