Hi all

It looks like I might be inheriting a small project from someone else.

The files (x3) that I have been supplied are supplied with an app a "runtime" thing.

Is it possible with filemaker pro to alter these files, as these may now need amending?

FileMaker Developer does provide an option to "Permanently prevent modification of database structure," but it is an option, it's not required. Providing that option was not used, and you have the requisite password, you will be able to work with the files like any other FileMaker Pro files. You can use them with or without the runtime app.
