I've heard that you can link MYOB with FMP through ODBC. Would like to hear opinions from anyone who has tried this. Will FMP 6 on OS X connect through ODBC through Classic with MYOB 11? Thanks in advance!

I don't think MYOB on the Mac supports ODBC. You must rely on the AppleScript dictionary for any integration with the MYOB db and unfortunately although a Mac company (once) they aren't actively developing the AppleScript or even advertising or supporting it anymore, as far as I can tell.

If you do use AppleScript then you may have problems maintaining referential integrity depending upon what you want to do.

Does this mean that MYOB and FMP on a windows O/S would be a better proposition?
