"FileMaker Server Configuration Article Update"

FSA Colleagues:

As many of you know FileMaker, Inc. Senior Systems Engineer Tony Miller

and I authored a lengthy article in the July 2002 issue of FileMaker Pro

Advisor on the subject of configuring FileMaker Server.

Advisor was forced to cut a significant portion of that article for

production reasons. Now however Tony and I have put all that

information back into the article, updated it, and added some new

information. It covers the Windows 2000 Server, Macintosh OS X,

Macintosh OS 9, and Red Hat Linux operating systems and their respective

configuration options and issues. There are specific sections on each OS.

The manuscript of the newly revised article runs some 7500 words and has

some 25 illustrations; it has been converted to PDF. It is now is

available for your use.

You can download the PDF (approximately 1MB in size) from the following
