When using Filemaker 5, we can't seem to locate or access our Filemaker 4 files on our host server.

Is Filemaker 5 backwards compatible? If so, any ideas where we're going wrong? smile.gif" border="0

We're using a Mac OS 9.1 G3 server as the host, and using iMac DV units as the access positions.

FM 5 is not backward compatible with files hosted on a FM Server 3 server (there was no FM Server 4). The files need to be translated with a regular copy of FM 5 and hosted on FM Server 5 (or FM Server 5.5).
