Newbies Onederdog Posted March 20, 2003 Newbies Posted March 20, 2003 Hi All, I have created two runtime products with developer 6 and am having trouble with distribution. The windows .zip version works fine but the OS X and the Mac Classic versions are having there filemaker extensions (import filters) corrupted during the file transfer. Sometimes even the runtime file itself is generic. I'm just using stuffit to create the .sea or .sit files for Internet download, and even transfers using file sharing create the same problems. Has anyone else having been having this problem or have any solutions. I can't find any relative info. on filemaker's support site. Thanks in Advance Bruce
danjacoby Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 Did you bind the Mac runtime versions on a Mac, using both OSX and Classic modes? If not, they won't work on a Mac, just as runtime versions bound on a Mac won't work on Windows. Just a thought.
Newbies Onederdog Posted March 24, 2003 Author Newbies Posted March 24, 2003 Thanks for the Reply. Yes, they were bound with the proper OS however I have recenly discovered the OS X bind was done using the Mac Classic versions of the extensions. Bruce
