Dear All

Appologies if I have posted this in the wrong place but I am not sure where to start. I need to setup MS Word to link to Filemkaer Pro so that it can acces data stored in a filemaker for a mail merge.

We are currently using FM 5 and FM Server 5 with windows 2000 and office 2000. All help appreciated

Why not export merge data from FM?

I can export the data into another format and merge it this way but I feel that this kind of defeats the object as this soluction will require me to store the data twice.

Thanks for the idea but I have heard that there is a direct way of linking Filemaker to MS Word

Why "store" twice. It will be just export and use. What does it take, minute?
