get data out of index

Hi,

Does anyone know how you can get data out of a FM-dbase the way these data are presented in the "show index"-window (cmd-i from within a field)?

you can try Troi File Plug-In . One of the external functions lets you export into a text file , and then you can get back the unique words or groups of words in FM

An easier way is to create a value list based upon the field on interest and then use a Set Field and the design function "ValueListItems (dbname, valuelist)" to capture the list.
