This forum is a fountain of knowledge as it allows us to pick each others brains and bounce ideas of each other and I have learnt a lot of new commands from what people post. I am not a newbie to Filemaker by any stretch of the imagination, I feel that I have a very good knowledge of what I need BUT there are many commands within Filemaker that I am not sure what they do.

[color:"red"] Is there a document a place or anywear that tells people what each command will allow you to do??? [color:"red"]

I feel that something like this would be a fountain of knowledge for newbies and people that have limited expierence of Filemaker. I feel that a document like this could open up a vast range of new uses for Filemaker for people who have only used it in a limited capacity.

Hi McGoo,

Is this like the question of life?

I'm not sure what you mean by "What does it all mean? Or -

[color:"blue"]> Is there a document a place or anywear that tells people what each command will allow you to do?

There are more than enough good reference books that can help and don't forget the FileMaker manual and the Online Help, which believe it or not are excellent references.

Direct questions for clarity of commands, script steps, calculations, etc. or help with with specific problems, on this, and other lists have also produced good answers.
