I need to do 2 imports because one source file has the customer order and the other one has the customer info. How would i do the first import then go back and on a different layout and import the other info into the current record?

Also, when importing from an excel file, how can i import just the first record?

You probably need to use the "update matching" option. You do the first import normally. Then, you do the second import using the "Update Matching Records" option using whatever unique customer ID field as the match field.
