2 Separate databases on one machine...

All on OS9.

We're using a project tracking/management db (47 db files) on a server running FMPro server 5.5. We have 6 computers hooked into the db over the network.

We're building a separate db for internal info that we thought we could use in the same way. We would all hook into this db using a separate "alias" as we do with our current project tracking db.

Is is possible to run two (or even 3) completely separate databases in FM server?

Why not? You are already running 47 separate databases smile.gif

The only limits are 125 databases on server and up to 50 open in FM client.

It makes no difference if they are linked or not into solution.

Only one thing will not work -- databases with the same names.

You must have unique names for served databases.
