I have read the previous posts about this being a known bug in FileMaker. I also took a look at Bob Weaver's fix but his example is a bit different to my problem and I can't for the life of me figure out how to translate it to my situation. I have a subsummary part that is comprised of only text fields that is splitting (layout and preview pic attached) rather than a single record body part. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I can provide more info, if need be. Please help...going kookoo over here, trying everything!

Without looking at the attachment, there are two boxes you should look at. In Layout mode, double-click on the subsummary part. Uncheck "allow part to break...". Then check "Page break after every..." and fill in the number 1.

That should do it.

Sorry I should have specified. The subsummary section itself spans more than one page. Therefore, I have to allow the part to break. It's not the whole section splitting that's causing me a problem, it's actual lines of text within the subsummary splitting.
