I have 20 stacked text fields 4 inches wide and tall enough for five lines of text. I selected all of them and turned on slide up for printing. With different amounts of text in say the first five text fields, everything slides up and prints one page as expected. If I fill in all 20 text fields then I would get multiple page upon printing. All is fine.

But if I try to add any vertical bars or surrounding boxes, for design sake, the printing will produce multiple pages regardless of how many of the 20 text fields are filled. (note: these are not records viewed as a list but rather text fields stack on a page.)

Any graphics can also slide up, but their size can't be reduced by sliding.

Using field borders isn't as elegant, but they will behave the way you want.
