Wade Posted December 5, 2001 Posted December 5, 2001 Is there anyway to bring word docs into Filemaker on the MAC? I know I can do it on the PC but is there anyway to do it on a MAC. This problem is really causing me grief with my employees. I love MAC by it's getting harder and harder to sell them on Apple because of stuff like this. Thanks for any help Wade
Steven H. Blackwell Posted December 5, 2001 Posted December 5, 2001 Several ways to do this, depending on the size of the document, and on the versions of FMP and MS Word in use. You can use an AppleScript or try the Troi file plugin. HTH Old Advance Man
Wade Posted December 5, 2001 Author Posted December 5, 2001 Old Advance Man Could you be a little more specific about how to do this? I am using FM 5.5 and both MAC's and PeeCee's on the network. the version of Word is from Office 98 Where can I find this "Troi" plugin Thanks Wade
Kurt Knippel Posted December 6, 2001 Posted December 6, 2001 Troi plugins can be found at www.troi.com Before giving further examples of how you can accomplish your goal, what exactly do you want to do. What is your end result when you "bring word docs" into Filemaker?
