Newbies Dipietro Posted May 4, 2003 Newbies Posted May 4, 2003 Hi, I have to start on a calendar for the web (in file maker) and I,m new on this forum. Does anybody have an idea for me? The best would be to start From a one that I can edit. (free if possible) Thanks
Lee Smith Posted May 4, 2003 Posted May 4, 2003 Check the different Calendars that are available at here http://www.fmfiles.com/dev4.html http://www.fmfiles.com/enduserhom1.html http://www.fmfiles.com/tnt1.html In fact, just do a search for Calendar there and select fmfiles.com as the site. Lee p.s. There are a ton of them, some even say Web in their descriptions.
Rangoon Posted May 6, 2003 Posted May 6, 2003 Great calendar selections Lee. I found a couple I've not seen before so I thank you for the post. I think the best Calendar/Planner I've ever seen was done by Steve Murry (I think his company was Advanced Database Systems). I don't know what happened to Steve. I've not seen his name for years and I don't think his web site is still up and running either. But he had a great package and I learned a lot from him. I think he started his solution back in the FMP 3.0 days and updated it through FMP 4. If you can find it, get a copy, I think you'll enjoy it. Let me know if you can't run it down and I'll snoop around in my archives and see if I can send it to you. hj hj
Lee Smith Posted May 6, 2003 Posted May 6, 2003 Both of Steve Murray's Calendar examples are available at http://www.powerfiles.com/index.html You need to do a find for Steve Murray and it will pull up these two files [color:"red"] CALENDAR DEMO I have used this file to create my own calendar. [color:"red"] Daily Planner I believe this is the one you were referring to and it is also available at http://www.fmfiles.com/enduserhom9.html Under the name of [color:"red"] Planner 3.0 demo BTW, the address given in Planner is http://database-systems.com/ However, there is no mention of Steve there that I could find. HTH LEE
