You need 2 seperate fields

1 which contains the text to display and

1 which contains the URL

Then on your results page enter this:

<A HREF="FMPro?-db=DatabaseName.fp5&-lay=LayoutName&-format=[FMP-FIELD: URLField]">[FMP-FIELD: TextField]</FONT></A>

That should work

There's a new thread over in "Using FileMakerr Online" that seems to give a simpler solution to the problem of clickable URLs.

But I'm curious myself about the second part of your question: opening PDF, Word or Excel files over the Web. I'm trying to imagine how that would work. I would have assumed people would have to download the files to their own computers first, so if anyone knows how it can be done I'd love to hear it too.
