I am hosting 3 FileMaker Pro files on a Server and I have 7 guest connected. Some are useing Filemaker Pro 5 and some are using Filemaker Pro 5.5. The server is running Filemaker Pro 5. When my guest import records from one file to another it closes the source file down if they have it open and that is really annoying to them. I can not figure out why it is doing this so i am asking for help.

Is the import being done directly or through a script?

No I am not using the script. The problem was that they were not using the host option. They were just using the shared file.
