I'm getting error messages, and FM files shut down. I can't get some files to open on my computer and some will not open on my network - but not all files - others open without error. Could I have a virus? I have virus software installed. If I need to call Filemaker tech support, who should I call?

BTW, I'm using FM 6.0 with 5.5 Server. Server is a Mac. I use a PC.

My bet is corruption of some databases.

Study File Recovery function. After Recovery do NOT use that database, but use fresh clone with imported records.

I copied the files to CD, then took them to a Mac. The files (that would not open on my PC) opened on the Mac, but new data that I had entered was missing. This is wierd! I lost a lot of data, and I don't understand why.
