I'm just curious. I just received my 5.5FMS and 10pack FM6 disk. How does the server recognize the 10 seats. If I avoid network installs and give the disk to 10 remote users (in different states) how does the server keep track of the 10 license copies?

Just buy more clients. The server accepts any client with a valid(unique or volume licence) serial number.

Server is not keeping any track over clients S/N AFAIK.

Each FM client is checking when starts if the same serial number already exist on network. If no, then FMP client continues. The upper limit is 250 clients connected to single FM server.
