June 2, 200322 yr Why is it that FMP for Windows will only let me use arial, courier, courier new, ms sans serif, ms serif, and times new roman? On my mac, I have access to all the installed fonts. I understand that there are cross platform issues with using strange fonts, but is there some way of making FMP see all my fonts under windows? The oddball fonts are only going to be used on one layout for printing Thanks
June 2, 200322 yr Author upon doing a little more digging around, it appears that i *can* select any font, from the "Text Format" dialog. That's a relief. How do I get these fonts to show up in the font selector in the text toolbar?
June 2, 200322 yr If it is blank, click in it and the list will appear, same for the size. Also, if you highlight a character it should also show the font.
June 2, 200322 yr I think you mean that only a few of the computers fonts show up in the menu. Under format, select 'font' then configure more fonts amd 'TADA' all the ungly fonts you can desirn to ruin a nice clean layout. my other $0.98: Use verdana it is designed to be more readable at small point sizes on monitors and will make a big difference in readability. June 5, 200322 yr Author your 98c is very good advice. This case was an exception. I was pulling information about my wedding guests out of the database and using it to create personalized response cards. Had to be in a pretty scriptish kinda font
