Is this possible?? (Numbers to text...)

I'm trying to figure out how to change numbers to text. What I really want is this:

I have an invoice database and I need to type the total amount in text format, like $1,200.00 (I do this manually) "One thousand, two hundred dollars 00/100"

If the total amount is $ 1,000,024.90; then it should be like: "One million twenty four dollars 90/100"

I think that maybe I need a plug-in or script that do this automatically, so when the total amount is entered, then the same amount is showed but in "text mode", the thing is that I don't know if that's possible in the first place.

I hope that you understand this, english is not my native language, so...
