I just posted a qustion, but cannot find it, I'm afraid I did something wrong, so I'm asking it again....

We have databases on two systems, both are running under OS10, one is FMUnlimited, another is FMServer. On those systems we have related databases.. Relationships FMU->FMS work fine, hovewer when we opn database on FMS it cannot find the related files from FMU and we have to choose them manually.

What can be wrong here?

The files should be opened *first* in FM Server. This is their home. They can then be opedded as guests by FMU.

...I didn't clearly understand you

You see, we have files on FMS that are related to files on FMU

Now, what we want is that when we open a file on FMS it connects automatically to all related files on FMU...however it says that files cannot be found, and we have to choose those files manually for every relationship

But the same files on FMU have no problem connecting to files on FMS... It works only one way.

all databases on both servers are open

Sorry if I'm not clear or if I'm not understanding something

Thank you

Put all databases to FM server.

FMU can open all databases from FM server.

What you are doing is against FMS concept and rules.
