Print "fit to page" in PC Filemaker?

Am I missing something or is there no way to print "fit to page" or print at at a reduced percentage in PC Filemaker? You can do it on the Mac. We have layouts that were designed larger than 8.5x11 and can't figure out how to print to fit on the PC. Is it a Postscript funtion? Thanks

Scaling is part of an individual printer's setup and depends upon its drivers. If you select Print Setup and then the properties for the printer, you should be able to change the scaling there, if it's available with the current driver.

'Fitting to page' would require modifying the layouts to shrink their overall size.

The answer to your question is Yes you can do it, but you need to use a PostScript driver for your printer. PCL drivers do not utilise this function but it is an integral part of PostScript drivers. If your printer has no PostScript capabilities then you will not be able to change the scale.

I am having the same problem: print scaling works fine with MacOS, but cannot get to work with HP printers running under Windows XP. New printers, at that. The scaling option appears, but does not "take" or have any effect in FMPro. Did you ever find a solution to this problem?
