I've made a layout that includes a portal. The "show vertical scroll bar" option for this portal is checked. But the scroll bar seems to disappear in certain instances. Does the scroll bar only appear when you click in the portal? When I come from another layout, I don't see the scroll bar until I click in the portal. I also have a button on the layout that takes you to the related record of whatever item I've selected in the portal (but it doesn't take you to another layout). This also makes the scroll bar disappear. There are always more records/items in the portal than the number of rows shown.

Hi Lee,

This sounds like the lines are not described. Try going into Layout Mode and selecting the portal. Then go to the line edit box (left side of your layout bottom box) and change the line description to a color with fill. Then go back into browse and check it. If this doesn't do it, then go back into layout mode, select it and then go to the Menu - Format - Field Boarders and select the boarders.
