Importing ONLY one field...a Matching field!

I am trying to import an Excel file with a list of email addresses into a Filemaker field called "Email Addresses". I also want to "update matching records" and "add new records". However, Filemaker only allows me to define the field as a field to IMPORT or a field to MATCH...but not both. How do I do this when the only field I want to import is also the matching field?

You have to match a consistent field between the two, i.e. customer number. Mapping Email Address wouldn't update the Email Address anyway, if the two were different, because they wouldn't match. wink.gif
