Newbies Radoy Posted June 26, 2000 Newbies Share Posted June 26, 2000 Does somebody knows how to create records from outside FileMaker on Win platforms? I know it's possible with AppleScript but how do you do this on Windows.

Newbies Radoy Posted June 27, 2000 Author Newbies Share Posted June 27, 2000 Couldn't find it. I am looking for some way to write my own statements (as in Apple script). My problem is that I don't have any idea what dictionary is used to talk to FMP. In the ScriptMaker of the Windows version of FM I see two script steps "Send DDE execute" and "Send Message".They allow me to talk to other applications from FM but not the other way around(at least I don't how).
